Manager, Treasury & Corporate Finance

JOB PURPOSE

The Manager, Treasury & Corporate Finance will be responsible for supporting the Director, Treasury & Corporate Finance in the implementation and monitoring of policies, procedures, and practices as they relate to cash management, debt management, bank account maintenance as well as the implementation of the new Treasury Management system

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage the corporate cash flows ensuring operating and capital requirements are met
  • Prepare and maintain 6-month and 12-month cash forecasts
  • Prepare and maintain tracking models for debt payments and prepare disbursement requisitions according to predefined cash waterfalls
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a global debt portfolio report, including tracking of global facilities and debt covenants
  • Administer bank accounts: complete paperwork to ensure global banking documentation is current (open accounts, close accounts, add services,maintain signatories)
  • Perform quarterly bank account validation and fee review
  • Review and approve wires for transactions and debt service payments
  • Manage workflow for any treasury related payments
  • Execute FX transactions, as directed
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of reporting and analysis improvements
  • Assist with implementation of new Treasury Management System
  • Participate in year-end bank confirmation documentation and follow up process
  • Support the Director with various ad hoc tasks and other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong financial background and an interest in Treasury management
  • Familiarity with credit agreements and KYC documentation
  • 8+ years of experience
  • University Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • A professional designation–CFA; CPA
  • Advanced computer skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to professionally and positively interact with people
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities, often within tight timelines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable working in a high growth change environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to break down complex problems in order to identify solutions
  • Highly motivated and goals oriented, with an enthusiastic and flexible approach
  • Not afraid to take initiative
