Supplying power to 35,000 households in Molong, Australia

Amp’s impending, 40MWp Solar Farm in Molong, New South Wales will produce sufficient electricity to supply power to over 35,000 households.

Molong is a small town situated in a stable network area of the grid (NCEN) between Central West NSW and Central NSW tablelands renewable energy zones. The project is the first solar project for the Molong community which is part of the Cabonne council.

Farming in rural NSW has suffered from drought conditions in recent years. Diversifying non-agricultural land for renewables will not only power 35,000 households, but also provide significant benefits to land owners and boost job growth in the community.
