Tokyo, Japan – January 21, 2022 – Amp Energy, a global energy transition platform and renewable energy developer, today announced that four projects within its Japanese portfolio achieved commercial operation in Q4, 2021.
The solar power plants, located in Mizunami, Nihonmatsu, Fujioka, and Shobusawa, have an aggregated capacity of 69.2MW, with an estimated generation of 77,000MWh per year - the equivalent to the annual energy consumption of 22,000 local households. Collectively, the construction of the plants created over 400 local jobs for the local communities.
