Successful implementation of North America’s largest rooftop solar developments with TDSB

Amp successfully developed and implemented a 66 MW portfolio of rooftop projects on 445 schools with one of North America’s largest School Boards. The Toronto District School Board, one of North America’s largest and most progressive school boards, was seeking a solar development partner to help meet its requirement to promote sustainability to students, teachers and local communities while lowering capital and operating budgets across their entire network.

Amp managed a consortium of financing and execution partners and tightly directed the entire process from beginning to end on route to a full scope commissioning in less than 36 months. This marked a massive milestone for Amp and represents one of the largest rooftop developments deployed globally.
