Our Vice President (VP) of Marketing will communicate this to the world. Through a bold PR and communications strategy, you will work with the executive leadership team to tell our story.


You will be responsible for managing communications activities that promote, enhance, and protect the company’s brand reputation. The VP of Marketing will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of public relations activities relative to strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership. In addition to being responsible for Amp’s communication strategy, the VP of Marketing will oversee digital content creation and management, social media management and strategy, and media and public relations


  • Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance Amp’s brand identity; broaden awareness of its programs and priorities; and increase visibility to key stakeholder audiences. 
  • Create marketing/public relations strategy that will allow Amp leadership to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audiences, including media.
  • Work with leadership team to identify internal and external communication opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them.
  • Oversee development of Amp’s print communications including marketing collateral materials and electronic communications including Amp’s website and new media; manage relationships and associated vendors. 
  • Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on media interactions that help promote and/or impact the organization. 
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the communications function including budgeting, planning and employee development. 
  • Lead a communications team to support the development and execution of the communications strategy.


  • Bachelors degree in journalism, communications, or related field is required
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a senior leadership role either in-house or with an agency. 
  • Extensive successful writing and editing experience (externally focused) with a variety of print and online communications media. 
  • Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications, media relations, and marketing program to advance an organization’s mission and goals. 
  • Excellent judgement and creative problem solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Superior leadership skills, ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers. 
  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs. 
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interact with the Executive Leadership Team, Amp’s Board of Directors and employees across global jurisdictions. 
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Uncompromising attention to detail and compelled to ensure successful completion of business objectives. 
  • Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial culture in a team of highly motivated professionals.
