We’re looking for a Tax Analyst to join our growing team! This position will support the tax team in areas of compliance, tax reporting and audits.  Working under the direction of the Tax Manager they’ll ensure all Canadian/ US corporate and partnership tax returns are accurately prepared and filed on-time.


  • Prepare Canadian and US tax provision for quarter- and year-end reporting; including reconciliation of entity level tax accounts, budgeting and forecasting payments of corporate tax
  • Prepare Canadian and US corporate and partnership income tax returns; including T106, T1134 and 5471 information returns
  • Facilitate federal and local government audits, including addressing queries, research and analysis of issues and providing supporting documentation as required
  • Update Canadian and US tax attributes, including earnings and profit analysis, surplus calculations, tax basis reconciliation
  • Address and execute daily business queries with respect to non-income tax issues such as indirect taxes, property or real estate taxes etc.
  • Attend to ongoing tax correspondences received and communicate with third party service providers as needed
  • Support transfer pricing, global tax partnerships and compliance initiatives as needed
  • Other tasks, duties and special projects as required


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • CPA designation or in progress
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a changing fast-paced environment
  • Excellent research and analysis skills
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience in CCH Taxprep, or other tax preparation software
