WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Amp is looking to add a Development Coordinator to join our growing team! Reporting to the Director, Development in Denver this position will help create and implement our processes and collaborate work with a team of subject matter experts and development managers to advance our projects and initiatives. They’ll be responsible for project budgets, cost to complete, spend to date, and short-term cash flows. It will require cross-discipline collaboration and coordination with various teams in the planning, development and execution of projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Budgeting & Cash Flow

  • Coordinate line-item budgets; create consolidated project & portfolio budgets from SME-provided line-item budgets
  • Coordinate with Portfolio Managers - the budget owners once budgets are launched
  • Generate and administer budget tools (chart of accounts, cash account codes, legal entity list, invoice tracker, PO tracker)
  • Monitor project schedules to adjust forecast and realized expenses
  • Create and maintain project completion reports, cost to complete, spend to date
  • Weekly maintenance of short-term cash flow projections
  • Track vendor activity from RFP right through to invoice
  • Track invoices at all stages
  • Liaise with the Accounting Team for payment requests, remittances, and financing draws
  • Track and schedule project and construction bonding requirements

Project Reporting

  • Maintain finance model inputs, project and portfolio KPIs
  • Administer payment and obligation calendars; initiate land-related payment requests, gather approvals from Real Estate, submit to AP, track remittances
  • Execute internal project announcements
  • Execute Development Team procedures
  • Manage working files and data rooms; maintain file structure and naming conventions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or relevant experience
  • Experience in project-level bookkeeping
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Ability to track a large pipeline of projects in various stages of development
  • Team player who seeks collaborative solutions
  • Passion for clean energy and the global energy transition
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
