We’re looking for an Associate, US Transactions that will assist in US mergers and acquisitions where Amp is acquiring projects or portfolios via a third party. This position will report to our Director, US Transactions and will require interaction with Amp consultant, brokers, agents and other key stakeholders as necessary to meet project requirements. This role will maintain regular interaction with internal and external resources to support Amp’s business objectives in the US.


M&A Coordination

  • Perform initial and post-closing due diligence tasks on M&A projects
  • Perform development functionality to ensure early-stage projects have all correct and up-to-date interconnection, permitting, state and federal programmatic incentives and site control approvals needed in order to get a project to construction
  • Provide support to other Amp groups to ensure project knowledge is passed on in an efficient manner (i.e., finance, engineering, asset management)
  • Organize internal and external resources to ensure transactions are executed on time and within budget
  • Manage accounting functions, such as budgets and AP requests
  • Manage consultants, brokers, agents, and other third-party stakeholders as necessary to meet operational requirements (including issuing third party RFPs, etc.)
  • Minimize Amp’s exposure to risk on transactions
  • Assist in developing, training, and implementing standardized processes to streamline functions related to asset management

Project Optimization Coordination

  • Interface with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, engineering, finance and development to determine optimal project designs
  • Set and execute development plans, when necessary, to ensure projects meet required returns and timelines

General Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the US group data management in the Denver office
  • Manage the Amp brand assets and guidelines for the Denver location
  • Support legal tasks as needed
  • Cultivate positive business relationships.
  • Perform other duties as required


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two (2) or more year’s progressive experience in administrative roles
  • Experience with customer service, data warehousing and project coordination
  • Experience working with sensitive and personally identifiable information
  • Ability to travel within the US and Canada
  • Previous land development and solar experience is highly valued
  • Meticulous attention to detail in the review, driving, and tracking of complex schedules
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Ability to track a large pipeline of projects in various stages of development
  • Team player who seeks collaborative solutions
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 USD
