Founder, President and CEO

Dave Rogers

Dave is the Founder, President and CEO of Amp, responsible for the company’s global vision and strategy. Since founding Amp, Dave has led the company’s significant global growth into a number of markets throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Dave continues to lead the company into the future which will include a diversified portfolio across multiple technologies.

Prior to founding Amp, Dave was head of Carbon markets at Front Street Capital, a leading investment management firm in Toronto with over US $3B of assets under management. He was responsible for originating and deploying capital to global investments in renewable energy as well as facilitating the purchase, sale and trading of carbon credits, both privately and through public exchanges.

Chief Financial Officer

Andy Hoffman

Andy joined Amp as Chief Financial Officer in 2024, bringing over 20 years of experience in power and energy, utilities, and infrastructure finance. In his role, Andy is responsible for overseeing all the company's financial operations, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance. He leads the Treasury, Tax, and Accounting functions and supports capital formation and strategic transactions for both Amp and Amp Z. 

Prior to joining Amp, Andy was a senior investment professional at The Carlyle Group, working across both direct lending and liquid credit strategies, with a focus on hard asset infrastructure including power, energy, digital, and renewable fuels. In his most recent role, he led the origination, structuring, and underwriting of private credit, real assets transactions within the firm’s $5B+ AUM Infrastructure Credit platform. 

Before Carlyle, Andy served in a similar capacity at Macquarie Asset Management, focused on broadly syndicated high-yield and investment-grade bonds and leveraged loans. He began his career in various corporate finance and commodity deal structuring and origination roles across three separate deregulated power companies including Exelon Generation, PPL Energy Supply, and Edison Mission Energy.   

Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Government from Franklin and Marshall College and is a CFA Charterholder. 

Max Brault
EVP, Head of Investments

Max Brault

Max leads all aspects of Amp’s investment activities globally, including the organization’s investment governance, asset underwriting, and management of corporate capital fundraising. He is also a member of Amp’s Investment Committee.

Max brings over 12 years of experience in energy finance, with deep international expertise in financing solar, battery storage, and biofuel assets. He holds an MBA degree from McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management.

Chief Legal Officer

Dan Gormley

As Chief Legal Officer Dan is responsible for providing strategic legal services to Amp’s Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team, and managing all aspects of the Company's legal affairs.

Prior to joining Amp, Dan was a partner at a major Canadian law firm where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and financings in the renewables and utilities sectors. He was lead counsel on the first financing of a utility-scale solar park in Canada and on the first major restructuring to be completed in the Canadian renewables space. 

He has been recognized by Lexpert as one of Canada's leading energy lawyers and by Best Lawyers in Canada for M&A and energy.

Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Rogers

Jeff Rogers is Amp’s new Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for providing strategic oversight of the organization’s operations to ensure efficiency and optimal performance.  Additionally, he will lead HR, IT, Communications/Marketing, and Investor Relations.

Jeff has over 25 years of leadership experience in different domains including technical operations, management consulting, digital advertising, and national defense.  Prior to joining Amp, Jeff led operations teams at Meta (Facebook) as the head of Global Product Services and built enterprise services for a scale of over 11 million business clients worldwide.  Prior to that he was the Director of Live Services at Riot Games, leading teams across various global functions including technical operations, localization, payments, customer service, and release management.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and he is a veteran of two combat deployments as an F-14D Mission Commander.

EVP, President of Australia

Daniel Kim

Daniel leads the Amp Australia team, responsible for developing and delivering our multi-gigawatt portfolio of solar, wind, energy storage and hydrogen projects.

Daniel brings over 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors advising on cross-border deals between Asia and Australia across a broad range of industries including renewable energy, green hydrogen, critical minerals, natural resources and infrastructure.

Before joining Amp, Daniel was CEO at Ark Energy, tasked with decarbonizing the world's largest zinc producer. In three years, he grew Ark from a startup to a business with a 9GW portfolio of wind, solar, energy storage, and green hydrogen projects. He also advised ABEL Energy on developing Australia's largest green methanol project for shipping decarbonization.

Daniel holds both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Queensland. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

EVP, Head of Spain

David Flitterman

David leads the Amp Spain team, developing 2GW of wind & solar assets. He brings over 30 years of experience in finance, renewable energy, IT and real estate.

Prior to Amp, David held other top leadership positions, including Executive Chairman of North America for Siemens-Gamesa, managing over 1,000 people and overseeing the construction of 1.3GW of wind farms. He has also served as CEO for EINSTEINet AG, an IT company, where he managed over 350 people, built two data centers in Germany for SaaS cloud computing and successfully negotiated debt and equity funding from institutional investors.

David was also an Investment Banker for 20 years (Managing Director of Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust) in NewYork, Sao Paulo, London and Madrid. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, private equity advising, M&A transactions as well as principal investing across different sectors.

David holds a double honours and Master’s degree in Engineering Science and Economics from the University of Oxford. Furthermore, his deep knowledge of aviation includes holding commercial and ATP licenses along with helicopter and seaplane licenses which have accumulated him over 2,000 hours of flight time.

EVP, Head of UK

Ben Skinner

Ben leads the UK team, bringing over a decade of experience in originating and structuring commodity transactions.

In his role, Ben has led the development of Amp's in-house BESS asset analysis and market risk frameworks. He also directly manages Amp's energy storage business across the UK and Europe, leading the company's entry into and ongoing activities in the UK BESS market.

Prior to Amp, Ben was a Vice President on the Structured Origination desk at Macquarie Group in Houston.

Ben holds a bachelor of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University, located in Sydney, Australia.

Martin Stein
EVP, Head of Japan

Martin Stein

Martin leads the Japan market, leveraging over 15 years of M&A experience and 10 years within the Japanese market. Martin’s experience spans across M&A, leveraged finance and energy project finance.

Before joining Amp, Martin held positions in leveraged finance and was instrumental in establishing Shinsei Bank’s renewable energy finance business in Japan, a team that during his tenure financed 1GW of renewable energy projects. Prior to joining Shinsei Bank, Martin was at ING Bank in London, where he was responsible for M&A and leveraged finance for private equity sponsors.

Martin holds a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge University and a BA from Durham University in the UK.
